Casting

This term we are going to perform one of Shakespeare's comedies called As You like It. Jack sent us an email saying that our interpretation would be set in modern day Britain and the basis of it would be politics. I love this idea as I think it is a fantastic way to bring Shakespeare into modern day, as when As You Like It was performed in the 1600's, the actors would've worn current day clothes so having ours set in the modern day will help bring this play to life and make it relatable to the audience.
